Having just released their collaborative album Human, Joell Ortiz and !llmind have been getting Heads familiar with their sound, one that is different than fans may be used to. The first single, “Lil’ Piggies,” is a dark track reminiscent of something one might hear in a horror film about a haunted children’s nursery. Loosely centered on the familiar nursery rhyme (“this little piggie went to market…”), the song has now been given the music-video treatment, and the result is no less haunting.

One part assassin movie, one part horror film, the music video casts Ortiz as a hit man tasked with the murder of two “piggies,” each of whom represent feeble opponents Ortiz plans on destroying. !llmind plays the role of the boss, instructing his henchman to kill both, and kill them he does. The site of the murders? A slaughterhouse, of course. Check out the video here, complete with its pig masks, machetes, and selfie-taking rappers.
