For more than 15 years, Jadakiss and Swizz Beatz have had an undeniable sonic chemistry. The 2 first linked on N.O.R.E.’s 1998 headbanger, “Banned From TV,” and their alliance has been solidified over the years with staples like The LOX’s riotous anthem, “Wild Out.” Despite the alchemy they’ve generated, they have not worked together since 2008…until now. Jadakiss has released a new single from his forthcoming Top 5 Dead Or Alive album, and Swizzy is behind the boards.

“Jason” finds Jada and Swizz at the tops of their game. The beat is grimy and menacing and Kiss laces it with his merciless, confident flow. Swizz sets things off with an intro and Jadakiss takes the baton sets out to leave no doubts about the title of his album. Take a listen and let’s hope this reunion continues.
