Today on her 25th birthday (October 10), Nitty Scott, MC has released her very first self-directed music video. The video is for the first song after the intro on last year’s The Art Of Chill album, “Generation Now.”

It’s been over a year since fans have gotten any visuals for songs off of Nitty’s debut album. In an open letter to her fans last month, she explained that she’s had to cut ties with her team, including management, and has taken her career into her own hands. This seems to be the start of a new era for Nitty, as she has taken on most aspects of her business herself, including directing this video.

The video for “Generation Now” captures the vibe of The Art Of Chill, with a laid-back sound and lyrics promoting peace and spirituality. Check out the video below, and be sure to “wipe your feet before you enter [Nitty Scott’s] mind.”
