Sean Price, Peedi Crakk, Royal Flush & Illa Ghee Attack A MoSS Track (Audio)

Veteran producer MoSS has spent years crafting tracks for Hip-Hop lyricists including Ghostface Killah, M.O.P., AZ, and Game. Currently readying his own Marching To The Sound Of My Own Drum solo album (November 13), the Works Of Mart (DJ Premier) affiliate releases one of his many carefully-curated collaborations. “B.Q.P.” plays off of the New York City expressway (BQE) that travels through Brooklyn and Queens.

The 7-1-8 shows out, as well as the 2-1-5. The late Sean Price hit the track with an especially raspy (but faithfully skills-forward) verse. P’s right-hand-man of recent years Illa Ghee appears, as does “Iced Out Medallions” maker Royal Flush. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania State Property member and onetime Roots affiliate Peedi Crackk (f/k/a Peedi Peedi) hits the mic with his own trademark bouncy cadence. These four MCs have built careers around merging brute MC ability with street respect, and they are the perfect quartet to MoSS’ brassy beat.
