50 Cent has been teasing the release of The Kanan Tape for months. Now, after a few fits and start, the project is finally here.

The mixtape, which is named after 50’s menacing character on the Power series he executive produces, features the same type of grit that defines the charismatic character. As has been the case throughout his career, 50 seems to excel when he dispenses with the gloss and returns to the grit and grime that landed him a deal with Eminem and Dr. Dre more than a decade ago.

The project features production by Alchemist, !llmind and others, as well as guest vocals from Young Buck, Lil Boosie and more. Check out the full stream and download below.
