First the last 18 months, First Lady Of The United States Michelle Obama has been diligently advancing her Reach Higher initiative. The objective of the extended campaign is “to inspire every student in America to take charge of their future by completing their education past high school, whether at a professional training program, a community college, or a four-year college or university.” She and President Obama have a “North Star” goal that, by 2020, the United States will once again have the highest percentage of college graduates in the world.

In addition to her vast array of accomplishments, from Harvard Law School graduate to major law firm associate to the highest level of public service, she can now add MC to the list. Today, she joined Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah in a comedic video by College Humor promoting…going to college, of course! While Pharoah does the heavy lifting in the song extolling the virtues of higher education, at around the one minute mark, FLOTUS steps to the mic for a featured half verse, and she’s not half bad.

If Barack Obama truly is the first Hip-Hop President, it makes sense that Mrs. Obama would be the first Hip-Hop Flow-tus. Check out the video.
