Remy Ma & Papoose Kick A Rugged Freestyle Over Red & Meth’s “How High” (Video)

Remy Ma and Papoose are the latest addition to the cast of Love & Hip-Hop: New York. They stopped by Hot 97 in promotion of the series, and it would not be a Remy and Pap show without those bars.

Peter Rosenberg selected the “How High” beat that Erick Sermon originally laced for Redman and Method Man, and Hip-Hop’s Bonnie & Clyde went to work. Ever the gentleman, Papoose allowed Remy to go first and, after questioning who picked the beat, she hits it with her trademark rough and ruggedness. Pap follows up with an extended flow and an aggression like he has something to prove. He takes shots at Rosenberg’s well-documented love for Kendrick Lamar, critics who still doubt him and more. This is Remy and Pap’s finest freestyle since their pairing in last year’s BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher. Take a look.
