Adrian Younge Has A Trippy Cure For Winter Time Blues (Video)

Hi. We recently created AFH TV, Ambrosia For Heads’ streaming video service, because we believe real Hip-Hop deserves its own dedicated TV home. But, there are doubters, so, we need your help. If you have enjoyed anything on AFH over the last 7 years, we are asking you to subscribe to AFH TV. It is only $1.99/month or $12/year, and already features some amazing content, but the best is yet to come. Thank you for all of your support.

PRhyme member Adrian Younge is embarking on his latest album. January 22’s Something About April II is the latest thematic work from the Southern California-based producer/musician known for his Wu-Tang Clan associations.

Without any MCs on the track, Adrian can still get gritty though. “Winter Is Here” is a trippy Soul journey through the coldest months of the year. Guest vocalists Karolina and Loren Oden make this work feel like a 1970s 7″ record discovered, that just makes sense amidst a season of cold fronts.

Visually, Younge captures the nuance of the song, with symmetry, artistic pans, and crisp displays of the song’s performance.
