Andre 3000 & Kanye West Are Surfing “Waves” In The Studio Together

Kanye West albums are often ensemble affairs. 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and 2004’s The College Dropout are two specific albums known for their sprawling personnel. While the album now known as Waves has a February 11, 2016 release date, an alleged corresponding fashion show concert, and one bold proclamation, it does not appear completed. ‘Ye has twice shared a tracklist, revising his notes. However, the guests are seemingly still pouring in—and leaving their literal marks.

Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, and Vic Mensa have been presumed guests on the seventh studio LP from the Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam Records multi-platinum artist. Madlib was a confirmed producer, along with West.

In the last 24 hours, the handwritten tracklist has acquired a gang of additional signatures and tags. Moreover, Kanye West and Outkast’s Andre 3000 have now been photographed (by YoungLord) together in the studio.

The photo was reportedly taken at an undisclosed recording studio yesterday (January 29). ‘Ye and ‘Dre were joined by former G.O.O.D Music artist and onetime Kanye protege Kid Cudi.

The pair have worked together previously, including Chris Brown’s “Deuces (Remix)” as well as Fonzworth Bentley’s single “Everybody.” Notably, they have never worked together on a Kanye or Outkast album.

In another photo uploaded to Instagram by Team Kanye Daily, the tracklist has now been signed by what appears to be Andre 3000, Doug E. Fresh, Puff Daddy, Swizz Beatz, Chance The Rapper, A$AP Rocky (as Jodye Flacko), The-Dream, 2 Chainz, Kirk Franklin, Kid Cudi, Mike Dean, T Mills, CyHi The Prynce, Plain Pat, Andrew Dawson, and more:
