Q-Tip Gives His Cuz Consequence One Of His Best Sample Beat Creations (Audio)
It has been more than six years since video surfaced (posted below) of Q-Tip, Kanye West, and Consequence kicking it together in the studio. In those days, It’s-The-Cons’ was a G.O.O.D. Music artist, carefully crafting his Don’t Quit Your Day Job follow-up. Cons’ cousin and musical mentor Q-Tip was in the lab with him, playing beats, and showed him an on-the-spot creation that had the whole session feeling especially good. Already this year, the onetime A Tribe Called Quest affiliate released A Good Comeback Story on his own Company Of Greatness imprint. Tip, Lupe Fiasco, and Ryan Leslie are among the guests.
