Always keeping her pen game sharp, Snow Tha Product has released a new track with a wicked rapid-fire verse, venting about how much harder she has to work as a female MC who isn’t about showing off her skin. She raps about being able to go on tour even without a large budget, and really puts her grind in perspective with bars like “I ain’t black and I ain’t white so I ain’t got a lane/ and I don’t got a Nicki budget, I don’t got a Wayne.”

Not only is her verse fire, but the beat she raps over is well put together, too. The song she and DJ Pumba sampled is none other than Alessia Cara’s 2015 hit, “Here,” which is also a song about venting. Snow Tha Product’s “I’ll Be Here (Remix)” is effectively Hip-Hop’s answer to the R&B/Pop hit, as her vibe matches Alessia’s perfectly. Check out the song below:

Snow Tha Product is coming off her 2015 mixtape The Rest Comes Later and plans on releasing more new music in 2016. How well do you think she started the year off with this new song?
