Sticks & Stones Will Not Stop Big K.R.I.T. From Winning (Audio)

One week ago (March 25), Big K.R.I.T. was the latest contestant of Mass Appeal‘s Rhythm Roulette game. While past producer/MCs have taken the challenge of blindly selecting three records from a store (Erick Sermon, El-P, Large Professor, to name a few of the most esteemed), Krizzle would break new ground. He refused to put a bow on his beat until he laid down a verse.

More than just a random throwaway verse or two, the song felt soulful, meaningful, and in the zeitgeist of K.R.I.T.’s 2016 career. Thus, the man who is known to drop free goodies at random provided Heads with the song we will collectively now archive as “Sticks & Stones.” The quality is much better than the one that played at the end of the beat-creation video too. As a bonus, it’s a free download too.
