Over the years, Bruno Mars has established himself as one of the most talented performers in the business. As dazzling as those shows have been, there is something magical that happens when Mars takes the stage at Saturday Night Live.

Last night, he entered Studio 8H in grand fashion and raised the bar even higher than he had with previous SNL performances, such as his show stealing appearance with Mark Ronson in 2014. Having recently announced he is releasing his first album in 4 years next month, Mars came armed with new music, and it is funky.
First up was his Roger Troutman & Zapp-inspired single, “24K Magic.” Much like he did in the song’s video, Bruno made the performance an all out party. In an unusual move, he began in his dressing room, dancing through the halls as he made his way to the stage. By the time he got there, he was surrounded by people joining in on the celebration.
