Ab-Soul & Bas Are Out Of Sight…All the Way in Paris (Video)

With just over a month left in 2016, TDE’s Ab-Soul is rounding out the year on a high note, and one fans have been missing since 2014’s These Days…The Carson, California spitter has not yet formally announced a release date for a new album (possibly titled DWTW), but already he’s dropped two singles – “Huey Knew” and “Braille” – less than a month apart. He’s also been getting busy on others’ work, including Rapsody’s “2AM” earlier this month, and Danny Brown’s “Really Doe” in September. But it’s safe to say Heads are ready for more than piece-meal Soul-o, and with today’s (November 22) release of a second new video in just over one month’s time, it’s possible Ab-Soul is looking to start 2017 promoting the release of a new album.

Ab-Soul Televises The Revolution In A Charged Video For “Huey Knew”

In the PANAMÆRA-directed visuals for the Bas-assisted “Braille,” Soul-o and his ami are in Paris, France, where the two deliver their respective parts along the Seine, atop buildings overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and elsewhere in the City of Light. It’s a snapshot of two MCs who, though adored and applauded by many, are not necessarily household names. Nevertheless, their careers have allowed them to tour the world, and it’s downright dope to see the two young men able to celebrate such success together, in a foreign city. However, it’s worth noting Paris is the city in which Bas was born (and lived as a young child), and in that regard, seeing him back “home” during what is arguably the most important year of his career is doubly meaningful – particularly with a fellow shining light of Hip-Hop beside him.

As always, Heads are encouraged to follow TDE on Twitter for breaking news related to album-related news…
