Yesterday (March 6), AFH announced its South By Southwest stage. Right in step with that, two of the March 15 showcase performers unleash their collaboration. Page Kennedy and Elzhi are elite MCs who both represent Detroit, Michigan. While El’ is a decorated veteran whose career spans back to the ’90s, actor/MC Page is just days away from his Torn Pages album (March 10). Along with Kxng Crooked, King Los, and D12’s Kuniva, Elzhi is one of the distinguished guests.

However collabo “Assassins” also includes Bronx, New Yorker Fred The Godson. With some appropriate Ozzy Osbourne effects for suspense, three MCs are ready to kill the competition. This song brandishes the weapons, with punchlines, confident deliveries, and lots of wordplay. Page goes first, then Fred, with the Lead Poison creator playing clean-up, with a faster flow.

Rapsody, the aforementioned Kxng Crooked and Nick Grant, are among the MCs joining Elzhi and Page at the AFH SxSW showcase next week.
