Royce 5’9 & His Brother Kid Vishis Show BARS Are The Family Business (Video)

In early July, brothers Kid Vishis and Royce 5’9″ dropped a single “Go Off,” belonging to the since-released The Purge album. As that LP, featuring Conway The Machine, Horseshoe Gang, and Nolan The Ninja makes its rounds, the Bros. Montgomery double up the visual.

The video finds Vishis, Nickel, and a drummer in one of Detroit’s abandoned factories. This one symbolically appears to include VHS and cassette tapes, put to waste, and catching fire. With blistering bars, the two brothers make fireproof music. This lyrical clinic comes to living color, as lyricism is the family trade, and both MCs succeed.

The 22 Entertainment single has fast become a standout solo cut for the younger Montgomery. It’s been a busy year for both, as 5’9″ released his Bar Exam 4 mixtape during the summer.
