Sa-Roc Says She’s A Rap Dragon & A Lyrical Goddess. Her Video Proves It.

Goddess MC Sa-Roc is no stranger to Hip-Hop. Rhymesayers Entertainment artist has been on the scene since 2008, wielding a heavy pen and studying the MC greats since her career beginnings. She’s worked with David Banner, Brother Ali, Sadat X & El Da Sensei, and DJ EFN. Now, after a decade of rapping and releasing handfuls of albums of her own, she’s awaiting the release of her Rhymesayers debut LP, The Sharecropper’s Daughter.

But until her LP release, Sa-Roc is tactically setting the stage. Following the release of her uplifting Rhymesayers debut single “Forever,” comes a brassy hard-hitting anthem, “Goddess Gang.”

Directed by Tommy Nova, the visual for “Goddess Gang” shows Sa-Roc working in an auto repair shop, before showcasing her angelic wings as the Rap goddess she stands today. Over a horn-heavy instrumental by Sol Messiah, Sa-Roc spits with confidence and urgency:  “Beauty irrelevant, this is not pageants, I’m a Rap dragon / Every time I open my trap its fire and your outlook ending up tragic.
