Stream Bun B & Statik Selektah’s Star-Studded TrillStatik Album

In the middle of this month, UGK’s own Bun B and highly-respected producer Statik Selektah hosted a live recording and taping for their collaborative album, TrillStatik. The two veterans have extensively worked together in the past on Statik albums as well as his group with Termanology, 1982. This collaboration was a bit different though. Made in real-time, the recording resulted in an album. Although Statik had previously done this with Saigon, Freeway, Freddie Gibbs, and Term’, technology had advanced, and so has the ShowOff Records founder’s profile.

Additionally, Bun and Statik opened their studio doors to a disguinshed panel of MC guests Method Man, Talib Kweli, Fat Joe, Westside Gunn, and Big K.R.I.T. are among those who participated in the 12-hour live event.
