Pusha T Helps Pop Smoke Tell His Vision On A New Song
Life is too short to listen to bad music. So…let Ambrosia For Heads sift through it for you and only supply you with that great stuff. Despite the reports, Hip-Hop is alive and well and, in many ways, is better than it’s ever been. Not only can we go back and listen to all of our favorites, at the click of a button, but there is also a ton of great music still being made by artists, young and veteran alike…if you know where to look. To help with that task, we’ve created a playlist with recently-released music. We update it regularly, so, if you like what you hear, subscribe to follow us on Spotify.
Today (July 16), Pop Smoke released his new album, Faith. The project comes almost exactly a year after his 2020 debut, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, and is the second to be released after his tragic death in February of that year. The star-studded album has a number of high profile guest appearances, including Rick Ross, The Neptunes, Future and Offset and Quavo from Migos. One of the standout tracks is “Tell The Vision,” featuring a verse from Pusha T and ad libs from Kanye West.
From the outset of his verse, Pusha celebrates the fallen rapper, while simultaneously commending Tyler, The Creator. King Push raps “Look, Tyler got the album of the year, for now / But Pop about to drop, I see the platinum in the clouds.” In the very next line, however, he says that he is also is about to stake his claim by releasing an album. It would be Pusha first album since his 2018 Daytona project, which was produced entirely by Kanye.
You can hear “Tell The Vision,” as well as new music from Tyler, Vince Staples, Evidence, Skyzoo, Rapsody, J. Cole and many more on AFH’s Spotify playlist.
