Black Milk’s aptly titled Album of the Year is the Detroit producer’s 3rd album and he has definitely found his stride. His beats are so on point that the rhymes are secondary, but once you give them a listen they are also engaging. You can hear influences ranging from Dre to Premier to the late great Dilla along with a healthy dose of Black Milk’s own unique flavor. Keep an eye on him.
