How Do You Make a Terrace Martin Track Funkier? Add Murs & Problem to It (Audio)
Veteran Snoop Dogg and Kurupt associate Terrace Martin brought an electrified Jazz to Hip-Hop in the last five years. One of the year’s stronger releases was his Empire Distribution-released 3ChordFold LP, which features Kendrick Lamar and others. For one of those album’s cuts, Terrace found a master in Relationship-Rap with Murs, as well as Compton’s breakout Problem.
Thoughtful, G-Funk Jazz that many of us can relate to… Groove on. T-Mart has a whole remix version of the project coming, so look out. If you like this, check out 2011’s slept-on Melrose project that Martin and Murs made together.
