Eminem Drives Home Another Narrative With Illustration For Us (Video)

In the midst of a digital takeover for Shady XV, Eminem hit Monday hard after his weekend 66-song, double-mixtape. With the double-disc label compilation now available for purchase, Em returned to his initial Sia-assisted single, “Guts Over Fear.”

For the video, which features both Interscope-backed artists in limited capacity, Heads are instead given a storyline to match the song, which finds Em’s refining his skills during the mid-to-late 1990s, in what would ultimately push him over the top. “Guts Over Fear” is that encouragement, so what better than a restaurant worker who has had more than enough, taking that same step.

Em’s used this approach with “Lose Yourself,” and several other visuals. Think it’s the golden recipe to make lyrical Rap go mainstream with a jet-pack?
