DMX’s New Song With Griselda Is Here & It’s Incredible (Audio)

Life is too short to listen to bad music. So…let Ambrosia For Heads fight through it for you and only supply you with that great stuff. Despite the reports, Hip-Hop is alive and well and, in many ways, is better than it’s ever been. Not only are we able to go back and listen to all of our favorites, at the click of a button, there is also a ton of great music still being made by artists, young and veteran alike…if you know where to look. To help with that task, we’ve created a playlist with recent music—songs that have been released within the last year or so. We update it regularly, so, if you like what you hear, subscribe to follow us on Spotify.

On Friday (May 28), DMX’s long-awaited new album, Exodus, will be released. Swizz Beatz has been touting the album for more than 5 years and, sadly, it arrives just 2 months after Dark Man X passed away from complications arising from cardiac arrest. Details about the album have been trickling in over the last few months, and it is star-studded. Exodus features appearances from JAY-Z, Nas, Snoop Dogg, Usher, The LOX, Nas, Scarface, U2’s Bono, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, and the late Pop Smoke.

One of the album’s most anticipated song’s features Griselda’s Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher. Today (May 25), it arrives, and it does not disappoint. “Hood Blues” features a sample of Lee Mason & His Orchestra’s “Shady Blues,” which Hip-Hop heads will recognize instantly from songs like Sean Price’s “Figure 4” and Lootpack’s “Answers.” The song finds each of the 4 MCs at the top of their games. If it is any indication of the quality of the album, Exodus will be a proper grand finale for DMX, one of the greatest artists in Rap history.

In addition to new music from DMX’s AFH’s playlist includes recent songs from J. Cole, CZARFACE featuring MF DOOM, JAY-Z, Nas, Nipsey Hussle, Del Tha Funky Homosapien and many more.
