Masta Killa Is Releasing A New Album. Method Man & Redman Join Him On His 1st Single (Audio)
Wu-Tang Wednesday, indeed. Already today (December 14), Heads have heard from Method Man, who joined Juelz Santana, Jadakiss, and Redman on “Ol Thing Back.” Now, fans have even more new material from the legendary MC, this time in conjunction with fellow Wu-Tang Clan member Masta Killa and, once again, longtime collaborator, Redman.

On “Therapy,” a new PF Cuttin-produced track for Adult Swim’s Singles Program, Masta Killa leads the charge and is flanked by Red and Meth, who are in peak tête–à–tête fashion. Calling this Hip-Hop thing “therapeutic,” MK raps about his dedication to the craft of music and his love of performing. Meth offers up similar sentiments, echoing Hip-Hop’s ability to heal and elevate, while Red takes a more aggressive approach (“Bananas, Redman so gorilla/Chi-town know I’m pimpin’ the mic, n***a”).
In speaking with Billboard, Masta Killa said he appreciated Adult Swim for providing him a platform on which to share “music in its raw form where it doesn’t have to be watered down or politically correct.” Also shared is the news that “Therapy” will be the lead single from MK’s forthcoming album, Loyalty Is Royalty, though no release date is included.
