Short of Dr. Dre’s Detox, is there something a Hip-Hop Head can hope for more than an Outkast reunion? It’s been a mere seven years, but it feels like forever. HypeTrak highlighted the instragram post of Andre 3000 and Big Boi (in vintage Outkast Clothing, no less) hanging out. While there’s never been bad blood between the pair, there also have been mixed messages of music to come, and a lot of label politics. While this wasn’t snapped at Stankonia Studios, could it possibly mean the thing we all hope it means?


This comes just weeks after Coachella rumors surfaced. With L.A. Reid at Epic Records—the LaFace Records co-founder may be the one who can make musical magic, and eradicate the label drama with two of Hip-Hop’s most talented, especially when together.
