Suge Knight Expands on Why He Believes Game & Kendrick Lamar Have “Slave” Record Deals (Video)
In February, Suge Knight started a controversy by saying artists like Game and Kendrick Lamar were “slaves” to their record companies. Now, he expands on those comments, explaining his aim was not to disrespect those artists but to call out their record company, specifically Interscope and Jimmy Iovine. Of course, Knight’s Death Row Records was distributed by Interscope in the 90’s so Knight has first-hand knowledge of their business practices…and likely an axe to grind. Knight explains, in detail, his views on the flow of money for both Game and Kendrick, and why he doesn’t believe they can be making any money. Check out the video.
