Ticket sales and the lineup for 2014’s Afro Punk Fest have been announced. On August 23 and 24, Brooklyn, New York’s Commodore Barry Park will play host to the third annual event. This year’s headliner is none other than D’Angelo, in the midst of a long-anticipated return to the spotlight and promised third album. Also on the bill are Ice-T’s veteran Metal outfit, Body Count, Fishbone, Me’Shell Ndegeocello, Odd Future members The Internet, and TDE’s SZA. Formerly known as Butterfly within Jazz/Hip-Hop hybrid Digable Planets, Ish’s new act, Shabazz Palaces, is also on the bill, with Denetia & Sene, Trash Talk, and Alice Smith.
