The Internet was ablaze nearly a month ago with the release of the teaser trailer for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII. However, there was seemingly at least as much chatter about the fact that one of the first images to appear was that of a Black male in a Stormtrooper uniform, as there was about the release of another installment of one of the most beloved movie franchises of all-time.

The Black Stormtrooper inspired talented producer Michael Uzowuru (Vic Mensa) to re-imagine both the score for the trailer and the trailer itself, exchanging the Star Wars theme for a modern chillout soundtrack and incorporating some new visuals, including the timely insertion of the word “Breathe.” Check out the video.

Here’s the original trailer.
