By now, it’s crystal clear the apple did not fall far from the tree when it comes to Stephen Curry’s NBA skills. His father, Dell, spent 16 years in the league and was one of its most feared sharp-shooters. But, when did the talents of young Stephen, a leading candidate for this year’s MVP Award, start to reveal themselves?

The Toronto Star has unearthed some footage of Stephen playing in the 8th grade, against his father, and by then Steph was already quite nice. The handle was there. The quickness was there.
