Dating back to 1998’s Tim’s Bio: Life From The Basement album, Timbaland and Nas have worked together nearly a half-dozen times. The Queens, New York MC extraordinaire called upon the Virginia producer/rapper for his Nastradamus single, “You Owe Me,” in addition to work together alongside everybody ranging from Jay Z to the Hot Boys.

2015 will see more of these Interstate 95 links. On his Facebook, Timbo previewed 15 seconds of a new track from Nas…and it sounds nothing like Nastradamus. Instead, fast flipped bars, vivid imagery, and that raspy cadence light the way for anticipation on whatever is to be.

Could Timbaland and Nas finally make a hit worthy of their respective pedigrees? Could this be the storied “Sinatra At The Sands”?
