While at SXSW, PRhyme, DJ Premier & Royce Da 5’9″, stopped by for a special edition of Sway in the Morning. They spoke on a litany of new topics, including new music Royce and Preemo are listening to (2:30), Royce’s newfound hunger as an MC (5:30), Premier’s idiosyncrasies (6:50), similarities and differences between Royce and Guru (11:00) and more.

Halfway in, Sway opens the floor to the audience for questions and it leads to an inquiry to Premier as to who he would want on a sequel to his “Classic” record with Rakim, KRS-One, Kanye West and Nas (15:00). After pausing to reflect, Premier names a surprising but heavy-hitter combination of Big Daddy Kane, Drake, J. Cole and Kool G. Rap or Chuck D.

And, in a surprising moment, Sway asks DJ Premier to spit a verse (20:30), over Biggie’s “Warning,” no less. Can Premier spit? You be the judge.
