Today (June 16) marks the official release date of Inspectah Deck, 7L & Esoteric’s follow-up to their self-titled debut as Czarface: Every Hero Needs A Villain. With the release of their sophomore album together, they’ve also put out a new music video for the song “The Great (Czar Guitar).” The track is exactly what Heads would expect from Czarface – Inspectah Deck & Esoteric both spitting dope rhymes over 7L’s hard production.

The cinematic video continues the theme of Esoteric being kidnapped by mobsters, and 7L & Inspectah Deck working together to free him. This plotline was first used in 7L & Esoteric’s video for “Retrospects,” where 7L gave up a ransom to free Eso, and was followed up with the first official Czarface video, “Air ‘Em Out,” where they joined forces with Wu-Tang’s Inspectah Deck to get their revenge. Check out the new video below:

There seems to be a new villain in town, as Esoteric has been captured again and 7L & Inspectah Deck are plotting to free him. Heads will have to stay tuned to see how the crew gets out of this one. In the meantime, Every Hero Needs A Villain is available on iTunes now, and Get On Down is selling a limited edition bundle which includes a t-shirt, comic book and more.
