With The Highlight Year Anderson .Paak Is Having He Might Never Come Down (Video)

Lately, it seems like so many albums get a visual to just about every song. They arrive in close proximity to each other, and fill up the digital superhighway with traffic not that much different from rush hour commutes. Prior to today, Anderson .Paak’s Malibu album is approaching its one-year birthday, with just one official video available.

The early 2016 Empire Distribution release came before Paak signed with Dr. Dre, tore down late night TV with T.I., or released NxWorries’ full-length on Stones Throw Records.

Today (October 31), that Hi-Tek produced track Anderson rocked with Tip, “Come Down” gets its video—just the second video from Malibu. The first, “The Seasons / Carry Me / The Waters” combined three songs in one (the first two were already fused together on the album). While that creation featured mixed media like Paak’s two solo album covers, “Come Down” is a basement party—hosted by the MC/singer and his band The Free Nationals. The video is simple, fun, and shows why Malibu is a great soundtrack for life.
