Jamie Foxx, Migos, & Drake Take 1 Hip Trip Back To Soul Train (Video)

Drake already made one of 2018’s best music videos. One month ago, the Toronto superstar gave away just under a million dollars in the “God’s Plan” visual. That spirited moment featured some real tears from everyday workin’ folks getting a helping hand from the OVO leader.

Now, Drake assists Migos in another memorable music video. “Walk It Talk It” is a single from this year’s #1-charting Culture II album. Listeners of Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff typically know what they’re getting in terms of content and delivery. However, that is not true of the North Atlanta, Georgia trio’s videos. Quavo co-directs this one, with Daps. It shows the group taking themselves a little less seriously, and getting all the way silly as they recreate Soul Train (as Culture Ride).

Lil Dicky Switches Bodies With Chris Brown & It Gets Freaky (Video)

Jamie Foxx pays tribute to late host and founder Don Cornelius (as “Ron Delirious”) and his “hippest trip in America” show. Drake, who regularly has this kind of fun, revives the Jheri curl in an over-the-top production. Old Cadillacs, roller-skates, big lapels, afros, and more make this video a stylistic achievement. Of course there has to be the Soul Train line too.

Although the show’s iconic ’70s style is what is recreated, presumably Drake, Quavo, Offset, Takeoff, and Quality Control label-mate Lil Yachty (who makes a cameo) tuned in when Mystro Clark and Shemar Moore were among the hosts in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
