The Soundset Festival, the biggest annual Hip-Hop festival in the Midwest, has unveiled the all-star line-up for their 2019 event. Put on by Rhymesayers Entertainment and Rose Presents, this large draw happening takes place in Minneapolis on May 26, 2019. This year will see artists from almost every era of Hip-Hop, including some momentous returns, reunions, and rare appearances.

The recently released New York legend DMX will play the Minneapolis Stage along with reinvigorated Lil Wayne, as well as current chart-breakers G-Eazy and Lil Uzi Vert, and a handful of others. On the St. Paul Stage, preeminent Hip-Hop duo Run The Jewels will tear it down with other notable acts such as SZA, Buddy, Trippie Redd, and super-group Beast Coast. The latter is the assemblage of The Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, and Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, and Power Pleasant of Pro Era. Soundset marks a rare and significant performance for the collective.

Being that Rhymesayers are behind this huge day of music, co-founders Atmosphere also have their own stage, which will play host to their friends and label family. This is where fans can catch Black Star (Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli) back together. While they did perform multiple shows in the last couple of years, it’s still rare to catch the act said to be recording a sophomore LP. Heads can also check live sets by Tech N9ne, Dessa, Royce 5’9”, Bas, Tierra Whack, Sa-Roc, Epic Beard Men (Sage Francis & B. Dolan), B.A.G. (Blimes & Gifted Gab), YBN Cordae, and more.

Lastly, there is the Essential Elements Stage, which will be home-base for those rocking the wheels of steel. DJ Spinderella (Salt-N-Pepa), Just Blaze, Cut Chemist (Jurassic 5, Ozomatli), DJ Abilities, Last Word, DV One, and DJ Presyce will all spin sets.
