A couple of months later, Westside Gunn and brother Conway The Machine dropped a video, “Machine Gun Black.” They did so under their group name Hall N Nash. The track was a tribute to their deceased cousin Marchello “Machine Gun Black” Lowery. It was also their first song produced by Just Blaze. However, since then the Buffalo crew has not dropped anything else with the renowned label. Along wwith Benny The Butcher, they did rep alongside Em’ and Boogie in the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher.

Since the initial announcement of the joint venture between the two imprints, both Conway and W.S.G. have teased their official debuts. It was also implied for a time that The Machine’s album, G.O.A.T. (Grimiest Of All Time) would bear the Shady Records logo. That is not what eventually transpired.
