Bun B, Westside Gunn & Termanology Drop Concrete Bars Over A Statik Selektah Beat

During a recent interview with Talib Kweli for People’s Party, Bun B revealed that he believes “the biggest” Hip-Hop song of all-time is “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.).” While the UGK co-founder opined in passionate detail, he also spoke about how Hip-Hop can work as a geographic textbook for its fans. Earlier this year, Bun and producer/DJ Statik Selektah released TrillStatik, a one-day event that involved MCs originally from Texas, New York, Mississippi, and Massachusetts. If anybody is pulling the country together on wax, Bun and Statik are kings.

TrillStatik single “Concrete” featuring Westside Gunn and Termanology, is visually straightforward. However, it gives heads a view from H-Town and proves that Buffalo fits in perfect with some Down South flavor. In the video, the Trill O.G. and the FLYGOD pull up to the hood in a Rolls Royce SUV and dine on some Frenchy’s chicken. Across the country, Termanology reveals he can’t make the video shoot but performs his verse with Statik Selektah during an outdoor event in Brooklyn. Just a trio of men who can put bars together.
