How MF DOOM Became Hip-Hop’s Biggest Hero

Although MF DOOM, whose death was announced on New Year’s Eve 2020, died on October 31, 2020, 2021 has brought several releases featuring his highly distinctive vocals. In May, CZARFACE released Super What?, their joint album with the artist born Daniel Dumile. He also was featured on Your Old Droog’s “Dropout Boogie,” from Droog’s TIME album, which was named one of Ambrosia For Heads’ 10 best Rap albums of 2021, so far. Of DOOM’s appearance on his album, IDK said “RIP DOOM he cleared these vocals in September and passed in October. REST FORVER KING.”
