Even before the Summer of 2015 Box Office officially gets started with the May 4th release of The Avengers, fans may already be looking well past August for their movie fix.

Yesterday, the second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, JJ Abrams’ reboot of George Lucas’ multi-generational franchise, was released and it has already registered a whopping 25 million views on YouTube (probably 26MM by now…27MM…). However, fans will have to wait until December to see that film.

Perhaps even more intriguing is today’s release of the official teaser trailer for 2016’s Batman vs. Superman film, in which Ben Affleck makes his debut as the Gotham City crime fighter. Though Christopher Nolan has vacated his director’s chair and Zack Snyder is now at the helm, this film looks every bit as dark as the Dark Knight trilogy. Take a look at both trailers below.
