Method Man Releases the First Visual From His New Album The Meth Lab (Video)

Last week, Method Man announced he was releasing a new album, The Meth Lab, and set the internet on fire. The album title leverages a clever reference to both the dopeness Meth cooks up in the studio, as well as a nod to Breaking Bad, one of his favorite television series. Meth will use the LP to showcase many of the talented MCs from Staten Island, the NYC borough from which he hails.

In the animated trailer announcing the album, Meth, Hanz On and Streetlife storm an RV where Breaking Bad characters Walter White and Jesse Pinkman are toiling, and take it over. The video for the title track, which premiered today on MTV, picks up right where the trailer left off, with all three MCs in the RV concocting that metaphorical goodness.

The Meth Lab hits stores on August 21, via Tommy Boy Entertainment. Check out the video.
