After graciously stepping out of the spotlight with his last release, Method Man returns with pure vengeance on “2 Minutes of Your Time.” He dispenses with all frills, including a hook, and spits nothing but pure flames for 120 seconds. As he stated in an interview earlier this Summer, after more than twenty years of standout verses, he still has a chip on his shoulder as an MC, and he attacks this track like he has something to prove.

The song is the latest release from The Meth Lab, Tical’s first album since 2006’s 4:21… The Day After. Method Man launched the campaign for the album a little over two months ago, with a Breaking Bad-inspired animated trailer. Since then, anticipation for the project, which also showcases a number of talented MCs from Meth’s hometown of Staten Island, has only grown. Now, the moment is almost here, as the album arrives on Friday, August 21.
