Releasing a star-studded deluxe edition of their stellar album, PRhyme, was not enough for DJ Premier & Royce Da 5’9″. After collaborating with the likes of Black Thought, DOOM, Phonte, Logic and Joey Bada$$, they took their talents to ESPN and scored the new theme song for the network’s NBA Countdown pre-game show. Now, each time the show airs, it will open to the tune of Royce & Preemo’s brand new song, “Rockin’ With The Best.”

In speaking with ESPN’s Front Row, Premier, who has worked with the show before, said of the song “The title describes us and it describes the competition that goes along with basketball. It’s the attitude that you need, so we wanted this track to carry that vision.” Royce said of the opportunity, “Being recognized for our talents and having the opportunity to work with ESPN and the NBA is next level. You forget the magnitude of your work until your father calls you and says he just heard you on ESPN; that’s when it really hits you!”

Here’s a look at the new opening for NBA Countdown.
