3 Years After Sean Price’s Passing The Boot Camp Clik Is Still Saluting Him (Video)

Three years ago today (August 8, 2015), the world lost a true original with the passing of Sean Price. The Brownsville, Brooklyn MC was a deft lyricist as a vocation, and also renowned for his role as a father, a husband, and a mentor and ally to so many peers.

P’s Boot Camp Clik and Duck Down Records family keep Sean’s spirit alive and his voice being heard. Last year, the label released Imperius Rex. That album, named as one of Ambrosia For Heads’ 15 best of 2017, includes the song “Apartheid.” On the important date in Rap history, that song comes to video. Buckshot and Smif-n-Wessun’s General Steele appear in the video. P’s Heltah Skeltah partner Rockness, his wife Bernadette Price, his daughter Shaun, Tek, Illa Ghee, and others make cameos in the black-and-white visual.

Imperius Rex features involvement from Method Man, Raekwon, Alchemist, DOOM, Prodigy, and more.
