Ghostface Killah Announces His Next Album With A Heist-Themed Mini-Movie (Video)

Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah is one of Rap’s busier veterans. In the last five years, he has released as many projects. This includes a sophomore collaboration with producer/musician Adrian Younge, Inspectah Deck’s CZARFACE squad, and a Lost Tapes drop in late 2018.

Having already blessed fans with Czarface Meets Ghostface as well as an active role on a Wu-Tang EP this year, G.F.K. reloads with an album simply titled Ghostfaces. Tony Starks’ upcoming project arrives in August. He launches the campaign with a seven-minute mini-movie. The first of three volumes, the sequence shows the Staten Islander and his cohorts plotting a heist. Notably, G.F.K. veils his identity under black-and-white makeup. He also chills at lush estate with his squad and some women.

Perhaps inspired by Triple Frontier, Dead Presid*nts, and a dash of Point Break, the plot is set against song, “Conditioning,” produced by Danny Caiazzo.

Previously, Ghost’ has shown a cinematic side, as he discussed with G.F.K. in 2014. His 36 Seasons album and 12 Reasons To Die series were created as narrative works. This upcoming project is executive produced by Ghost’, Remedy Ross, and onetime Theodore Unit member, Shawn Wigz.
