Puff Daddy, The LOX, Ma$e, Lil’ Kim & More Announce Bad Boy Reunion Tour Dates
It was almost one year ago that Puff Daddy reunited with much of his Bad Boy Worldwide hit-makers for a medley concert at the 2015 BET Awards. The televised June event featuring followed a co-headlined Snoop Dogg concert at Madison Square Garden in February. Symbolically, that concert was at the same site as the 1995 Source Awards, which many believe was the single event that made the Death Row Records vs. Bad Boy Records feud public.

In both concerts, The LOX, 112, Faith Evans, and Lil’ Kim performed. Ma$e would appear at the BET taping, while Black Rob performed in Manhattan. Nearly one year later, the artist formerly known as Diddy fulfilled a promise, and announced the dates for the Bad Boy Reunion Tour. According to Entertainment Weekly, confirmed artists include Puffy, Ma$e, The LOX, Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, Total, 112, Mario Winans, and French Montana—who just joined Bad Boy’s Epic Records merger this month. Of all the headliners, Lil’ Kim was the one who never signed to Bad Boy. An Undeas/Big Beat/Atlantic Records artist for much of her career, Kim was longtime romantically connected to The Notorious B.I.G., as well as a featured player in Puff Daddy’s 1997 “The Family” lineup, although not on the multi-platinum album’s cover. The tour is said to see additional guests.
Bad Boy Records was launched in 1993, after Puff Daddy left his post at Uptown Records. The label’s first release was The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready To Die.
